Uniforms

Purpose

At Edelweiss Preparatory School, a uniform dress code reinforces the concept of school as a place of learning and promotes a sense of community and school spirit. Uniforms save money, reduce wardrobe hassles and ensure each child is well dressed regardless of family income.

Colours

School colours are navy, white and dark green.

Supplier

Uniforms are purchased through a Calgary company, Wear It. They are our official supplier.

Shoes

Each child is required to wear only non-marking soles on their shoes. Flip flops and Heely’s (with wheels) are not appropriate footwear for school.

Colour Days

Each month the children can dress in their own casual clothes with the colour we are celebrating on that particular day (ie. “Yellow Day” — children wear something yellow)

Used Uniform Annual June Sale

Parents will hold a sale on June 23, 2008 from 10 am to noon to sell their used uniforms to other parents. This sale is CASH ONLY.
